H. Haemodynamics


Description
Understanding the haemodynamic monitoring and its use in critical care decision making is simple. The course designed primarily for the critical care paramedic trainees, advanced practitioners, trainee doctors and medical student to help them understand the principles of blood pressure, cardiac output, afterload, preload, vascular resistance, wedge pressure, CVP and other mystical topics. It is not rocket science.
After a short explanatory lecture, we put everything into clinical context and give you some cheats, hints and tricks about how to evaluate these parameters in the critical care setting. You can try yourself in a simulated scenario and a number of quiz questions and tests to boost your confidence as well.
